Meeting an Ex Student

 Usually, I am not very talkative. But in the right company, I can hold a long conversation. Happened again in the company of my friend Swati Jain, ex-IMT Nagpur. Met and discussed all topics under the Sun that one can, our lives, and work included. Sherlock Holmes and Korean serials were some that I remember. Her batchmates including her roomie Aditi Atre too, and others like Ishita Modi, Pushpinder, Jaya Dulani Sardana and others. And Dance classes, Palmistry, Astrology, Goa trips, Bhopal (she's from there), Alumni meets, Professors of Finance, Jain food etc.. This was only our second meeting, but did not feel that way..

Meeting People in Person

 You could say, it's a great feeling. Say that again. Even if you have met online for years. I have been meeting many people recently who I mostly met online before. Past students, or colleagues. Met a few recently at IIM Kozhikode and IIM Raipur, where I had been on a scouting trip to recruit faculty tow ork with us at Prestige University. Also met some who gave me an endorsement for my Marketing Research book- even non-marketing faculty. Anyway, we hope to meet again, somewhere.. a while ago, in Bangalore, I met Divya Sisodiya and Meenu Mynam, and in Mumbai, met Swati Jain, after a decade or more, and it was fabulous catching up.

Bombay Greens

 Not blues, therefore greens..it was green and wet, both. One day full of rainy weather, in spite of which I managed to catch up with an IMT alum I had met only on fb. Swati Jain is from Bhopal, and knows Shraddha Nigdikar from school days. She hated Marketing (not marketing profs.), and specialised in Finance. But we had many things to talk about, besides Finance and Marketing. So we did..
