Guava Chronicles

 The guava tree in my Indore home has been pretty bountiful this year, maybe as a farewell to me. Anyway, here are some shots, along with a Guava thief caught red-handed :)

Jaisalmer in Pictures









Barring the victory tower from Chittaurgarh, the rest are from Jaisalmer area, the sand dunes being about 30 kilometres away from town, and the lake right in the town. The place I am posing in front of is called Vyas Chhatree.

My Samurai Connection

I got a chance to visit a Samurai village called Kitsuki or "Little Kyoto"on a recent visit to Japan. There were students from the Asia Pacific University who came along as guides, and walked us through the preserved Samurai houses. I rented a kimono (yes, men wear these too), to get into the part, and enjoyed roaming the streets of Kitsuki. Some pics-the first has my swords :)








Charming Ladakh




No words are required when the scenes are so majestic. Remembering the visit to these fantastic places last summer. Nice thing to do when the temperatures are 40 plus celsius. The river is Indus, which gave India its name.
