Some more shots from the Ramoji Studio tour
A blog about life, Hindi music, films, humour, books, people, places, events, travel, and occasionally, marketing management or leadership. Mostly apolitical, because that is a personal matter that each of us should decide on, and because I don't want to lose readers!

2.0 - Review of Rajni's Film
I will admit I was late in catching this film, due to preoccupations- usually, I watch it in the first week if it's the Thalaiva's film. I can't resist it, because of his screen presence and style. The story is secondary, though he has tackled College fees, slum redevelopment, and here, the ill-effects of cell phone towers/radiation.
But the point of his films is to capitalise on his charisma, and he has oodles of it. If you are looking for a classic, this one's not for you. But if you can suspend disbelief and enjoy the proceedings, which entertain, you should try it. Akshay as Pakhsirajan is not bad too, and Amy Jackson is almost a parallel hero in this one- I liked her. The special effects are another hero, and some are awesome! Particularly cute are the microbots on a pigeon.
If we can watch Hollywood film effects and Marvel at them (intended), let's salute Shankar, whose films are no less.

Wildlife in Thailand
Thailand and elephants go together. They have lots of elephant shows. But Indians are blase about these, as we often see elephants on the road, or in a temple. So we took pics of other fauna from our trip to Thailand just concluded. Enjoy the variety that you can see in a day at the Safari park.
There were giraffes and many others too. By the way, while on the trip through the open zoo, a zebra crossed our road. So that gave rise to a ZEBRA crossing, automatically. Didn't get the name of the bird with a red eye. Help, anyone?

Pre and Post
I thought I would prepone this post. But that is wrong. I mean, the English, according to the Queen. The one floating on a barge with a disreputable sardar. So I postponed the post. That sounds right, somehow, so here it is.
There was a post-monsoon shower yesterday. How do I know that it was post-monsoon? Because experts said that the one last week was pre-monsoon. How do they know? I don't know, but experts being experts, they are always right- like the boss, or the wife. Facts of life, like the birds and bees. And taxes, whose 'dead'line is fast approaching. I have another silly doubt about tax returns. Even if you are not getting any money back, are you still filing a 'return' ? Your Majesty, your views on this, if you be pleased.
Anyway, back to the pre and post business. Can you just 'pre' something like you post something? I will leave you to think about this, post-pulling your hair out.
