Got to spend a day or two in Nagpur on my way back from Goa. And boy, was it refreshing! Also managed to squeeze in a bit of golf on the IMT campus, but apart from that, a lot of other highlights.
Met a few of my erstwhile colleagues, spent a lot of time soaking in the mild sun, after the extremist weather in Delhi. Also had a couple of meetings (WORK), but lots more.
Met my blogger friend, a couple of other students, and a lot of the non-teaching staff who all make IMT such a great place. It gives you a feeling of peace which is a little different out here, more like the Wild West of American legend. You almost expect anyone (even without a hat of the cowboy fame) to start a shooting duel! Of course I am exaggerating, but you get the point.
Might do me a lot of good to take that drive from the city to the IMT campus there, on a regular basis. Picked up some Mario Miranda cards from Goa, and a book which promises to be a nice read. It is a take-off on the famous (and frequently pretentious) authors. I love take-offs, much more than landings.
A blog about life, Hindi music, films, humour, books, people, places, events, travel, and occasionally, marketing management or leadership. Mostly apolitical, because that is a personal matter that each of us should decide on, and because I don't want to lose readers!

Good take off on take offs. Am waiting for that book to land so I can take off!
Sounds like an eventful trip, overall.
Yes, Meghna, the party place (Goa) was matched by Nagpur on all counts. Every lunch, dinner, golf session or meeting (!). And meeting you was a highlight-though brief. We got some customised food made at the Radisson Blue buffet, thanks to Prof. TKC.
This was not our first meeting technically. We have had many a lunch together during placement processes last year. Also, I was assigned the task to run around after you and the chief guests at the convocation of the 2012 batch. But after this one you will remember me.
Radisson Blu has a good buffet. I've been there once. What did you get customised?
Placement processes and convocations are well, too formal to remember anything...but you are right. I will remember you now.
